- First mix all the ingredients required for making gatta then add water to make a stiff dough out of it. Then make the rolls of the dough and put it into hot water and let cook for 12-15 mins till the bubbles come on the rolls.
- Then after cooking them let them come on room temperature and then cut them into even pieces.
- Take 2 cups of basmati rice and soak it in water for ½ hour and then add 1tsp of turmeric powder and salt as per taste and cook it in the pressure cooker and take 5-6 whistles. Afterwards let them cool completely and also do not forget to add 1 tbsp of ghee or butter so that it does not stick.
