- Soak dal with double of water for half an hour.now make tadka with oil or ghee
- Heat ghee in a pan add cumin seeds when spluttering add onion after saute one minute add ginger garlic and asofetida saute again when raw smell goes off add tomato and saute till leaves the ghee
- Add all dry masala and off the gas. Now add in soaked dal and mix well and mw safe bowl with lid on 14 minutes and leaves 2 minutes to standing time. Take out and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with ghee Parantha,salt and boondi raita.
